I mean, because Nurses have SO much free time right?

Call it fitness, wellness, in-shape, or “good condition”, they all fall under the same umbrella of health.

Give it whatever label you like, I’m sure we’d all love to live in a world where you have ample time to increase your fitness and improve your health.

Exercise comes in all shapes, forms and sizes. Color it however you like but we all need to move more, and we all need to eat better.

I give 11 suggestions (hacks) for improving your health while you’re on shift.

  1. Move more
  2. Eliminate temptation
  3. Challenge yourself
  4. Measure your progress
  5. Rest
  6. Refuse the crap
  7. Avoid temptation
  8. Be prepared
  9. Have a plan
  10. Ask for help
  11. Drink more water

Remember, you can’t out-exercise a bad diet and there is no bargaining in weight loss.
